Attic bathroom - Niche 2

Attic bathroom - Niche 2

Challenge? Elegant, but with a romantic touch – that is how the client imagined her future attic bathroom. Bathrooms designed in converted spaces (such as a former attic) have one big advantage: they are generally more spacious than "standard" bathrooms in a house. The biggest challenge in such an interior is to make practical use of the sloping roofs and to combine functionality with aesthetics.

Solution! Furnishing the bathroom in the attic requires careful planning. It is important to remember that the surface area of the room is not equal to the usable space to be furnished. In order to fully utilise the area by the knee wall, it is wise to use it as storage space for cleaning products or a laundry basket, for example. In this way, the partition wall created can become part of the shower cubicle. The investors opted for the Euphoria KDJ cubicle, where the glass doors are cut in such a way that they fit perfectly under the sloping wall. In order to gain extra centimetres, we lowered the level of the shower with a solution based on a shower tray with a drain line. The elimination of the shower tray, in addition to practical advantages, also offers interesting visual effects.
